Shujie Mao, Lawyer, currently serves as the Managing Partner of Shanghai Xinyi (Hangzhou) Law Firm and a Senior Partner of Shanghai Xinyi Law Firm. As a senior lawyer, he also holds the qualification of a patent agent and was honored with the "Lüxinshe 2024 Annual Outstanding Branch Manager (Top 30)".
Mr. Mao has long focused on intellectual property (IP) practice, with particular expertise in complex technical cases in the fields of patents and trade secrets. His practice areas span electronics, chips, communications, photovoltaics, machinery, chemical engineering, detection, education, automotive, and packaging industries. He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Automation of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, holding a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Engineering. During his academic years, he won the first prize in the National Postgraduate Mathematical Modeling Competition and the second prize in the National College Students' Mechanics Competition.

In patent infringement litigation and invalidation cases, he represented Aojie Technology in a series of patent infringement disputes against Spreadtrum Communications. One of these cases was live-streamed nationwide by CCTV on the "April 26 World Intellectual Property Day" and was praised as China's "first case in mobile phone baseband communication chips". He also accepted Huawei's entrustment to handle patent infringement disputes related to photovoltaic equipment.
In IP due diligence and risk control involving patents and trade secrets, he has performed outstandingly. For example, he led patent infringement dispute negotiations between two new energy vehicle manufacturers, and provided consultation and responses to IP inquiries for Aojie Technology's IPO on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board (STAR Market).
Additionally, he provides regular patent agency services such as patent application and reexamination, as well as patent layout services for some clients.
