Hongwen Zhao holds a Master of Laws in International Private Law from Chiba University (Japan) and is a partner at Shanghai Xinyi Law Firm. With 15 years of study and work experience in Japan, he holds qualifications including Level 2 of the Japanese Business Accounting Certification and Level 2 of the Japanese Commercial Practice and Legal Affairs Certification, and has obtained permanent residency in Japan. He previously worked in the China division of a major Japanese automobile company and the legal department of a large domestic multinational enterprise. Proficient in the laws of both China and Japan, he uses Japanese as a working language and boasts extensive experience in corporate legal affairs and Japan-focused overseas business.

Her areas of expertise include Japan-related business, corporate mergers and acquisitions, asset restructuring, liquidation and dissolution, labor dispute resolution, family law, and other civil and commercial dispute resolution cases.
